CHANGE IS IMPORTANT, when politicians don't change!

Ben Laury / Stacy Jennings

We have seen that elections don't change government, people do.

When the same ideas are repackaged by new politicians, nothing good comes of it. We have seen the results in Washington & Trenton.

As business leaders and communicators, we know that a sales pitch is not enough. Just changing department names or moving responsibility to another county agency achieves nothing –except new, additional expense. And giving everything away? Well everyone loves that until the tax bill comes in the mail! For some reason, these old-time politicians don’t get it!!!

Ben Laury and Stacy Jennings understand your concerns – ever rising taxes, government operating in a vacuum behind closed doors and very basically, political officials out of touch with Salem County taxpayers.

As a business owner and manager, Ben Laury understands how to control expenses and manage people. Stacy Jennings is a teacher and communicator, qualities essential to change the behavior of county government to initiate a thoughtful discussion of ideas and decisions.

The prescription for improved financial health for Salem County is basic.

Reduce Spending, eliminate political appointments, out of control trip expenses and wasteful duplicated administration.

Open government up to the taxpayers it represents. End behind close door decisions, NOW! Stop hiding discussions, information and proposals from some Freeholders and share with all—including the public.

GILDA GILL - Salem County Clerk

"As County Clerk, I have modernized our office and indexing system to provide instant access to deeds and other important records. I’ve organized tributes for our veterans… from those who served in World War II to those returning from Iraq. I have taken my office “on the road” to improve accessibility and deliver services directly to local residents. My first priority has always been to ensure that our residents receive the best possible services-without increasing taxes to pay for them!"

CHUCK MILLER - Salem County Sheriff

"From walking the beat as a city patrolman to leading the Investigator’s Unit for the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office, I’ve spent a lifetime protecting Salem County Families. I’ve increased officer presence throughout the county and have worked with local police to face challenges of patrolling rural communities."
